Designed apps for:
Fintech, e-commerce, advertising campaigns, mobile gaming, and viral videos.​

Deliverables:

Requirements gathering, user interviews, personas and their distribution to teams, journey maps, mockups, finalized designs based on test data, and handoff of design, code and functional specs to dev teams.

  • Worked on designs for Video on Demand / Streaming project for Microsoft Surface Tablets and 10 FT displays. Refined aspects such as show overviews and content delivery.

  • Worked on IT configurator system for Equinix.

  • Worked on ad campaigns, notably for Microsoft. 

  • Designed FinTech pages for Assetmark and Visa.

  • Worked on Smart TV interfaces at Amazon.

Openprise

LEAD PRODUCT DESIGNER

2020 - 2023

Openprise's core app lets SalesForce marketing teams run advanced data queries without knowing any code, saving both time and spend. 

​

Working with Product, Management, Marketing, Dev and other teams, applied Lean UX approach to rapidly design new features in the app including: bot tools, list loading, table / grid designs, data visualization an analytics suite and more. Pain points from customers were logged in Jira.

Designs helped company obtain $25MM in Series B round.

Deliverables:
Research, design roadmaps, low + high-fidelity mockups, and a design system.

GRANTS

PRINCIPAL PRODUCT DESIGNER

San Francisco, Bay Area

2008 - 2011

Developed the UX and visual design for a mobile app toolbar used in millions of feature phones worldwide. Toolbar was preinstalled and let users browse: weather, news, stocks and web in general. Also designed UX for toolbar’s IDE.

​

Practiced user centered design methodologies to lead distributed teams in development of a network intelligence dashboard. Mentored junior designers to follow accessibility guidelines / best practices.

Dashboard provided phone companies including AT&T and Verizon with a bird’s-eye view of activity on their respective networks. Dashboard freed up engineering resources previously dedicated to running bespoke KPI queries for telecoms.


Dashboard saved $1.3MM in company funds in first year.
 

Deliverables:
Competitive analysis, workshops, interviews, journey maps, personas, mentoring, interactive mockups for user testing, handoff of feature specifications and code to the development team.
